What is Data Transfer or Data Migration?
- Data transfer is a process where informatiion is transferred from one form of computer media to another.
How long does the transfer process take?
- Although MBI cannot guarantee the amount oof time it may take to complete a data transfer request, data transfer projects normally take 1-2 weeks. Turn around time is from the date the disk(s) are received at MBI through the date of return shipment.
What is a source disk?
- A source disk is the disk that contains yoour information.
What is a target disk?
- A target disk is the disk we will transferr your data to during the transfer process.

Will MBI handle International orders for Data Transfer?
- Yes, we are happy to work with Internationnal clients. Please be aware that you are responsible for the cost of shipping media to and from MBI. We do ask International clients to pay a pro-rat,a non-refundable deposit, before work can be carried out.
